Martha L. Deeter
Martha L. Deeter, 92 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Thursday May
22, 2014 at 7:20 AM at the Brethren Retirement Community. She was
born August 28, 1921 in Darke County, Ohio the daughter of the late
Harold A. & Olive (Dull) Withrow Sr. She was a Legal
Secretary for Spidel Staley Hole Hanes Law Group. She was a
member of Nashville United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Harold V.
Deeter whom she married October 4, 1941; sister: Helen W. Geddes;
brother: Harold “Tom” A. Withrow Jr.
She is survived by her children and spouses: John & Lena
Deeter of Greenville, Michael & Ann Deeter of Lima, Ohio, Susan A.
& David Ratcliff of Plano, Texas, Robert E. Deeter of Greenville;
numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren; sister: Jeanne
Barr of Greenville; & numerous nieces & nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Zechar
Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Chuck Mackeen
officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial
Gardens. Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on
Monday may 26, 2014 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions
may be made to Nashville United Methodist Church or State of the Heart
Hospice.
