Craig A. McGlinch

Craig A. McGlinch, 64 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Thursday September 18, 2014 at 4:25 AM at his residence.  He was born March 4, 1950 in Greenville, Ohio the son of Robert & Jane McGlinch of Greenville and the late Lois (Hangen) McGlinch.  He retired from Kroger’s in Greenville and also retired from the Greenville City Schools; he was also a substitute teacher for the Darke County Schools. 
   
He was a graduate of Greenville Senior High and Capital University.  He was a private pilot and an amateur radio operator.
   
He is preceded in death by his mother; grandson:  Alec Pohlman; niece:  Rachel McGlinch.
   
He is survived by his father and step mother; his wife:  Linda (McGreevy) McGlinch of Greenville whom he married July 29, 1972; daughters and sons in law:  Stacey & Dan Pohlman of Coldwater, Ohio, & Katie and Chad Plieman of Greenville;  grandchildren:  Lucas, Zachary, & Lani Pohlman, & Lily Plieman; brother & sister in law:  Steve & Patty McGlinch of Greenville; sister & brother in law:  Pam & John Cook of Greenville; sisters in law & spouses:  Kay & Craig Deubner of Waynesville, Ohio, Marilyn & Tom Blakeley of Versailles, & Jeanette & Bill Bruck of Hamilton, Ohio; & numerous nieces & nephews.
   
Services will be held on Monday September 22, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Terry Haworth officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Sunday September 21, 2014 at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
