Stephen D. Deem
Stephen D. Deem, 64, of Greenville, passed away Saturday morning, April
25, 2015 at the State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
He was born May 31, 1950, in Glen Karn, Darke County, son of the late
Harold and Aileen (Satkamp) Deem. In addition to his parents he was
preceded in death by his brothers, Mike and Robert Deem; and a nephew,
Benny Deem.
Steve had worked for Sullivan Corporation as a supervisor. He was a
veteran and had served in the military police in the US Army.
He is survived by his sons, Chris (Heather) Deem, Josh (Amber Miller)
Deem, Sean (Bethany Hunt) Deem, Brian (Jessica) Kolb, and Adam Kolb;
grandchildren, Houston, Gavin, Braylon and Lilia Deem. Dylan,
Brandon, Caleb, Ryan, Madison and Caden Kolb; sisters, Sonnie Frech and
Billie Jo Deem; a brother, Nevin Deem; special friends, D.J. Crawford
and Lisa Brickler; and numerous friends, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service with full military honors by the Greenville
Veteran’s Honor Guard will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 2 at the
Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. till
11 a.m. on Saturday.
