Karlyn M. Bahr

Karlyn M. Bahr, 95, of Greenville, passed away Thursday evening, February 5, 2015 at Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville.
 
She was born May 7, 1919 in Dayton, daughter of the late William Karl and Edrice Viola (Warren) Darby. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Robert Bahr on December 17, 1981.
 
Karlyn was retired from Delco in Dayton. She was a member of the Stelvideo Christian Church and the former Greenville Eastern Star.
 
She is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Donna) Bahr of Greenville; 3 grandchildren, Bryon (Cathy) Bahr and Kevin Bahr both Yulee, FL, and Jaclyn Thompson-Bahr of Greenville, Ohio; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Virginia Shumaker and Dorothy Pollack.
 
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 11 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Ft. Jefferson.
 
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
