Kenneth Paul Lucy

Kenneth Paul Lucy, age 42, of Troy, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning February 22, 2015 at home in Troy, Ohio. He was born on February 12, 1973 in Fort Riley, Kansas. 
   
He is survived by his wife, Lynette Marie (Snyder) Lucy and his son Cameron Parker Paul Lucy, and daughter Victoria Elyse Lucy in Greenville, Ohio.  Also his parents, Laurence J and Jill R. (Garbig) Lucy, and his two brothers Christopher and Scott Lucy who all live in De Tour Village, Michigan. In addition, his paternal grandmother, Rebecca U. Lucy in Greenville, Ohio, and various aunts, uncles, cousins and nephews and one niece.
 
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Jesse J. Lucy and maternal grandparents, Bion and Marie L. (Clark) Garbig and infant niece Rebecca Marcella Lucy (Chris’s daughter) and his uncle, Billy L. Garbig.

Ken graduated from Arcanum High School in 1992. He was active in Track and other sports.

He attended ITT Technical Institute in Dayton, Ohio.  He was an avid computer enthusiast. He enjoyed online gaming with his son, father and brothers.  Ken worked in construction for many years and was excellent at his job. He always had a smile for everyone and would do or help his friends and family anytime they needed him. He was a hard worker and had a great since of humor.  He belonged to the Local Carpenters’ Union #136 in Dayton Ohio. He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, parents and brothers as it was such a shock and loss to them all.

There will be a service held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 4:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.  There will be a private graveside service held at the convenience of the family.  Family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
