Philip Terrell Rehmert

Philip Terrell Rehmert, 90, of Greenville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2014 at Reid Hospital, Richmond, Indiana.
 
He was born September 20, 1924 in Greenville, OH, son of the late Christ and Sadie (Schultz) Rehmert.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Gwendolyn Neiswonger and brother, Byron Rehmert.
 
Philip was a veteran of WWII where he served in the Navy.  Member of the Masonic Lodge #143, Scottish Rite of Dayton, Greenville American Legion, Greenville VFW and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.
 
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Davis) Rehmert whom he married on April 20, 1946; his children, Chris (Peggy) Rehmert, Kent (Beth) Rehmert, Barbara (Bob) Wert, Byron D. (Sandra) Rehmert all of Greenville;  grandchildren, Krista (Corey) Traut, Julie Horzsa, Daryl Rehmert, Brian (Angie) Rehmert, Ashley (Clinton) Sharp, Philip (Jackie) Rehmert, Kent Rehmert, Jr.; step grandchildren, Michelle Palmer-Clark, Tiffany (Josh) Thompson, David (Jessica) Williams, Dan (Jenny) Williams and Eric (Jessica) Williams; 28 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Services will be held 10:30 am, Monday, January 12, 2014, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Burial, with full military honors, will be in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
 
Family will receive friends Sunday from 2 -4 pm, with Masonic memorial services at 3:45pm.
 
The family requests that memorial contributions may be given to the State of the Heart Hospice, 1350 N. Broadway Street, Greenville, Ohio or the American Heart Association.
