A. Gale York
A. Gale York, 73 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday January
1, 2015 at 2:52 AM at Heartland of Greenville. He was born March
19, 1941 in Darke County, Ohio the son of the late Millard & Gladys
(McBride) York. He was a farmer and worked construction and later
retired from 3-Sigma. He attended Ansonia Schools.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Carl York,
& Don Hupman York.
He is survived by his wife: Donna (Yount) York of Greenville whom
he married July 24, 1960; his daughters & sons in law: Deanna
& Randy Harrison of Arcanum, Gail & Ben Overholser of
Greenville; grandchildren: Nicole & Brian Pohlman of
Greenville, Josh Overholser of Zanesville, Ohio; great grandson: Grant
Pohlman.
Services will be held on Monday January 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Zechar
Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. Burial will follow in
Springlawn Cemetery, New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends
from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu
of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart
Association.
