Raymon E. Zeller
Raymon E. Zeller age 95, of Versailles passed away at 1:30 A.M. on
Thursday, January 15, 2015 at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in
Greenville. Raymon was born November 3, 1919 in Darke County to the
late John & Amanda (Miller) Zeller.
Raymon is survived by his sons, Jack Zeller of Versailles and Richard
Zeller of Port Ritchie, Florida; daughter & son-in-law, Carolyn
& Jeff Lavey of Mt. Vernon; and grandchildren, Joshua Lavey and
Candace Lavey.
In addition to his parents, Raymon was also preceded in death by his
wife, Phyllis (Waymire) Zeller.
Raymon served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Raymon retired from
Grilliot Auto Parts in Versailles where he was an auto mechanic for 48
years.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 17,
2015 at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Dennis
Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park in
Covington with Military Honors conducted by the Versailles Veteran’s
Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 to
10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to
