Kenneth R. Abbott, Jr.
Kenneth R. Abbott, Jr., 58 years old, of Greenville, OH, passed
peacefully into the presence of his Lord at 5:50am on June 13,
2015. He was born July 11, 1956 in Dayton, OH, to Kenneth R. Sr.
& Lois E. Abbott (Brewer). He was united in marriage to Mary
E. Sharp, 39 years ago on October 11, 1975.
Kenny will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary & their 3
children, K. Jason Abbott & wife, Shawna, of Mason, OH, Janna
DeGraffenreid & husband, John, of Greenville, OH & Jeremy
Abbott of Fairborn, OH, 9 grandchildren, Mother, Lois E. Abbott, 2
Sisters, DaRhonda Schwartzentruber of Miamisburg, OH, Dianna Cox &
husband, Rick of Springfield, OH, 1 Brother, Arlan Abbott & wife,
Marcy, of Grandy, MO., and many nieces and nephews that loved him very
much.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth R. Abbott, Sr., His
Father-in-law, Earl L. Sharp (who he called, "Pa") and Mother-in-law,
Mildred C. Sharp.
His warm, welcoming smile and his firm, heartfelt handshake will be
greatly missed!
Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Thursday June 18, 2015 in The
Church of God Meeting House 5065 State Route 49-S Greenville, Ohio with
Brother Ray Tinsman officiating. Burial will follow in the
Meeting House Cemetery. The family will receive friends on
Wednesday June 17, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Thursday
1 hour prior to the services in the Meeting House.
