William "Bill" Barker
William "Bill" Barker, 50, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on June 20,
2015 at his residence. Bill was born on April 1, 1965 in
Greenville to Maxine (Hilbert) Barker and the late Frank Barker.
Bill enjoyed attending Triumphant Christian Center in Greenville. He
loved all music, mostly classic rock and 80's hair bands. Some of his
favorites were Waylon Jennings and Stevie Ray Vaughn and he loved the
song "American Pie". Bill enjoyed planting flowers. He was
an avid sports fan with his favorite teams being the San Francisco
49ers, The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Golden State Warriors.
Bill leaves behind his fiancé, Lee Rice; three sons, William, Vince and
Josh Barker; a sister, Dora Hammer; three brothers, Frankie, Bob and
Joe Barker; grandchildren, Ele, Joslyn and Lilly Barker; nephews,
Timothy, Aaron, Danny, Dillan and Frankie; and a niece, Emily.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2015 at
3:00 PM at Triumphant Christian Center in Greenville with the Rev. Sam
Shilot officiating. Friends and family my visit 30 minutes prior
to the service beginning at 2:30 PM also at the church.
