Mary Kathryn Birt
Mary Kathryn Birt, 97, of Greenville, OH, passed away Thursday, June
18, 2015 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
She was born, November 02, 1917, in Greenville, OH, a daughter of the
late Jesse and Martha E. (Hartman) Kunkle.
Mary was a secretary for Leis Realty and for the Ansonia Church of God.
She loved to crochet and garden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Carl Birt; and 2 brothers, John and Darrell Kunkle.
She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (Doug) Weider of Greenville,
OH and Doris (Ed) Jackem of Chapel Hill, NC; grandchildren, Rae Lynn
Burns, Chris Jackem, Nicole (George) Roberts, and Matt Jackem; and 5
great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, June 23, 2015
at the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens with Rev. Lee Wallace and
Rev. Gary Oser officiating. Burial will follow.
The family requests that memorial contribution be made to State of the
Heart Hospice.
