Sandra Hemmelgarn
Sandra Hemmelgarn, 60, of Greenville, Ohio passed away Sunday, March 8,
2015 at Cleveland Clinic after a courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born October 19, 1954 in Greenville, OH, daughter of the late
Eugene and Dorothy (Oswalt) Ewing. In addition to her parents she
was preceded in death by a daughter, Bridget Marie Kenworthy; brothers,
Myron Ewing and Jack Ewing.
Sandy was a homemaker and had worked at Whirlpool. She was a
member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Hemmelgarn, whom she married
March 12, 1988; her children, Brittany Hemmelgarn and Brickton Ginger;
grandchildren, Katelyn Kenworthy, Tera Nixon, Mikala Ginger and Peyton
Ginger; brothers and sisters, Terry Ewing of Mt. Summit, IN, Roger
Ewing of Arcanum, Nancy Forry of Champersburg, PA , Melvin Ewing of
Arcanum, Bev Bowman of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday,
March 12 at St Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville. Burial
will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Oliver Floyd Funeral Home in
Greenville, Wednesday from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.
The family request that memorials be given to breast cancer.
