Wilma Jean Thompson, age 81, of Greenville, Ohio, and formerly of Washington Court House, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 4:47 PM at her residence.  She was born on April 24, 1933 in Waverly, Ohio, to the late William Delbert & Gladys Edna (Smith) Brown.

Wilma was married to Ronald Keith Thompson on May 2, 1954 for 36 years.  She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Kris & Matthias Roll of Greenville; grandsons, Jeffrey M. Roll and Andrew Roll who were the highlights of her life along with their golden retriever’s Rex and Tyro.  She is also survived by her brother Zach Brown of Washington Court House, Ohio.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Bill, Ron and Garry Brown.

She had many good jobs throughout the years with one of her favorites being at Fayette Memorial Hospital in Washington Court House.  She had an eye for detail, decorating and her home was always immaculate.  She was a true believer in God and there was always an open bible in her house.  Although the family knows that she is in a better place she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

There will be a Celebration of Life service held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 6:30 PM at EUM Church, 111 Devor Street, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Sylvia McKibben officiating.  There will be a private graveside service held at the convenience of the family in the Bloomingburg Cemetery in Bloomingburg, Ohio.  Following the service on Thursday there will be a dinner and refreshments served at the church for everyone to enjoy.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes that memorial contributions be given to the EUM Children’s Ministry.
