Wanda Doris (Roeth) Benning, age 91, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away
on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 4:54 AM at her residence. She was born
on August 5, 1923 in Miami County, Ohio, to the late Clarence Emery
& Bonnie Carolyn (Westfall) Roeth.
Wanda is survived by her son, Ronald Lee Benning of Versailles;
grandchildren, Melody & Roger Dawson Jr. of Jamestown, Ohio, Randy
& Janet Benning of Xenia, Ohio, and Michelle Willis of Xenia, Ohio;
great grandchildren, Roger “Trey” (Lauren) Dawson III, Jessie Dawson,
Lindsay Willis, Nicholas Willis, Danielle Wilder, Codey Benning, Chloe
Benning and Conner Benning; great great grandchild, Dakoda Benning; as
well as a brother in law, sister in law and numerous nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband,
Herman F. Benning.
Wanda was a homemaker and a member of Beamsville Christian Church.
There will be a service held on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 10:30 AM at
Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Steve Short
officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park,
Covington, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May
13, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers it is the wishes of the family that memorial
contributions be given to the Beamsville Christian Church or American
Heart Association.
