Burk
Shirley Ann (Harris) Burk, of Hollansburg, passed away September 29,
2015 at Reid Hospital. Shirley was born on August 17, 1949 in
Hazard Co., Kentucky to the late Tommy and Becky (Wells) Harris.
In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her
brothers. Larry and Deptin Harris
Shirley is survived by her husband, Robert Burk of Hollansburg; a son
Shane Penka of Hollansburg; a daughter and son in law, Renee and John
Drew of Arcanum; grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother and
sister in law, Jerry and Sue Harris of New Paris; three sisters and
brother in law, Lula Boomershine of Lynn, Indiana, Naomi and Tony
Hawley of Winchester, Indiana and Sharon Baldwin of Wilson, New York,
and numerous nieces and nephews.
No public services will be held. Family request memorial
contributions be given to the American Cancer Society.
