Linda Kay Myers
Linda Kay Myers, age 73, of Greenville, OH, passed away, Sunday, April
03, 2016 at Village Green in Greenville.
She was born Friday, January 01, 1943 in Ironton, OH, a daughter of the
late Rev. Frank and Mildred (Spence) Malone.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother,
Frank Malone.
Linda loved playing poker with her friends and family, listening to
country music and spending time with her grandkids. She had a generous
and kind soul and would often go out of her way to help someone in
need. Linda was a member of the Eagles and held a state office, She was
once a member of the Troy Country Music Association.
Linda is survived by her Husband, Donald Myers, of 21 years, whom
she married December 24, 1994;a daughter, Kimberly Miller of
Ansonia, OH; 2 grandchildren, Joe (Ashely) Miller, Jr. of Arcanum, OH,
Krystal K. (John) Stewart of Ansonia, OH, 2 great
grandchildren, Emmett and Abner Miller of Arcanum, OH; 3 sisters,
Ceceilia (Ed) Slaughter of Ironton, OH, Rose Mary (Earl) Roach of
Casstown, OH, and Marjorie (Ed) Brammer of South Point, OH.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday,
April 09, 2016 at Oliver Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with
Chaplin Candy Null officiating. Burial will follow at a later day.
Family and friends may visit Saturday from 1:00 PM until the time of
the service at 2:00PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
