Carolyn Rhodes
Carolyn Rhodes, age 74 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 5:00 AM
Sunday December 11, 2016 in the Miami Valley Hospital Dayton,
Ohio. Carolyn was born February 8, 1942 in Greenville and the
daughter of the late James Howard and Pearl (Martin) Plessinger.
She had formerly worked at the K-Mart Store in Greenville and enjoyed
fishing, gardening and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband
William Fredrick Rhodes Sr., daughter Kelly Clark and brother Michael
Plessinger.
Carolyn is survived by her children Tammy Mitchell, Jami Rhodes both of
Greenville, Jerry Rhodes of Sevierville, Tenn. and William Fredrick
Rhodes Jr. of Greenville; grandchildren Shannon Rhodes, Todd Clark,
Kristen Bowling, Dennis Mitchell, Ashley Mitchell, Shawana Pritchard
and Nathan Young; great grandchildren Kayleigh Strong, Ashlyn Bowling,
Aubree Mitchell, Emma Mitchell, Lillian Mitchell, Shayleigh Rhodes,
Keegan Clark, Kageen Clark, Kaitlynn Clark, Nevaeh Clark, Makayla
Clark, Jerry Lee Pritchard, Sierra Young and Shellby Pritchard;
great great grandchild Elyjah Michael Taylor; brothers Randy Plessinger
of Germany, Don Plessinger and James Plessinger, both of Greenville as
well as numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday December 22, 2016 from
1:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville,
Ohio.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the family to help defray funeral expenses.
