Arlene B. Shepherd

Mrs. Arlene B. Shepherd, 77, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away, Thursday, February 4, 2016 at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.
 
She was born August 27, 1938 in Darke County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Effie (Ray) Reigle.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Shepherd, whom she married on July 7, 1961 and a brother Billy Gene Reigle.
 
Arlene had owned and operated Southwest Traders on Broadway in Greenville.
She was a graduate of New Madison High School. Arlene was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Loyal Order of the Moose, both in Greenville.
 
She is survived by her twin sister, Charlene Bergman of Greenville; nephews, Kevin Wogoman of Union, Ohio, Rainee Reigle, Randy Reigle, Jeff Reigle, and Doug Shepherd all of Greenville; nieces, Vicky Constable of Greenville, Sherry Lawrence of Greenville and Robin Jenkins; as well as numerous great nieces and nephews
 
A celebration of Arlene’s life will be held Monday, February 8, 2016 at 12:00 pm at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Fee officiating. Family and Friends may visit from 10:00 am until time of services also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakgrove Cemetery, State Route 121, Fort Jefferson, Ohio. The family request memorial contributions be made to the Darke County Cancer Association, American Alzheimer’s Association, or American Heart Association.
