Rita A. Rice
Rita A. Rice, 62 of Greenville, Ohio passed away passed away on
Thursday July 14, 2016 at 1:59 AM at Reid Hospital. She was born
September 15, 1953 in Urbana, Ohio the daughter of the late Victor
& Ruby (Holderman) Smith.
She was a hair stylist and owner/operator of Hair in Motion. She
was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her significant other: Ron Grilliot; daughters &
son in law: Melissa & Chris Grote of Greenville & Amy
Rice of Greenville; grandchildren: Sydney & Tytan Grote,
Kaden, Kolin, & Kenzi Rice; siblings & spouses: Tom &
Nancy Smith of West Liberty, Susan & Jim Phillips of West Liberty,
Jim & Brooke Smith of West Liberty, & John & Vikki Venneman
of Bellefontaine; numerous nieces & nephews.
Services will be held on Monday July 18, 2016 at 10:30 AM at Zechar
Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Gary Cloyd
officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday July 17,
2016 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to
American Cancer Society.
