Loretta (Hammaker)
Scandura
Loretta (Hammaker) Scandura, age 59, of Centerburg, Ohio, and formerly
of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 12:18 AM
at her residence. She was born on April 23, 1956 in Greenville,
Ohio, to Anita (Nisonger) Hammaker of North Star, Ohio, and the late
Richard Hammaker.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her daughter, Andrea
Scandura of Centerburg, Ohio; son, Brian Scandura of California;
grandchildren, Antonia, Carmela, Rocky, Kursten, Alec, Kellan and
Vincent; siblings, Robert Hammaker, Teresa Peyton, Anthony Hammaker,
Angie Kotey, Christopher Hammaker, Richard Hammaker, Matt Hammaker,
Stephan Hammaker and Dennis Hammaker; as well as numerous nieces and
nephews.
In addition to her father she is preceded in death by her brother,
Joseph Hammaker.
Loretta loved playing golf and most recently working as a Travel Nurse
as a RN.
There will be a Memorial Mass held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 10:30 AM
at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 233 West 3rd St., Greenville, Ohio, with
Rev. Fr. John R. White officiating. Burial will follow in the St.
Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio. Family will have a
gathering on Thursday, March 31, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Zechar Bailey
Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
