Aisie Irene Bortner

Aisie Irene Bortner, 94, formally from West Manchester, OH passed away, Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Brethren Home Retirement Community.
 
Irene was born September 6th, 1922 in Fountain City, IN, to the late Frank and Irene (Vore) Lacey.
 
Irene was very active in the Prices Creek Church of the Brethren and also the Slo-Downers Camping Club and with supporting the Brethrens Retirement Community Center.  She was very proud of her grandchildren and great grand children.
 
In addition to her parents, Irene is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bortner.
 
Irene is survived by her son, Jerry and wife Margaret Bortner of Greenville; daughter, Lois and husband Paul Moore of South Bend, Indiana; grandchildren, Eric and Alicia and their daughters, Ava and Alayna, Mike and Elizabeth of Tucson, Arizona, Katurah and Joe Mindock and their children Lacey, Alan, Ian and Joseph, Jerrod Scott and wife of Farmers Branch, Texas and their children and Paula and Mike Greenwell of Redmond, Oregon.
 
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 25, 2016 at Oliver Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Chaplain Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Grove Cemetery in Fountain City, IN.
 
Family and friends my visit Friday, from 10:00 AM until the service at 11:00 AM.
