Betty J. Fisher
Betty J. Fisher, age 92, of New Vienna and formerly of Greenville
passed away at 10:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at her
residence. Betty was born September 7, 1924 in Darke County, Ohio to
the late Joel R. & Esther (Norris) Wagner.
Betty is survived by her children, Joel Whittaker of Lebanon, Charles
Whittaker of Camden, Anita & Dale Powell of New Vienna and Ethel
Watson of Harveysburg; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren
and great-great grandchildren.
Betty was also preceded in death by her 1st husband, Gerald Whittaker;
and 2nd husband, Charles Fisher.
Betty was a homemaker and formerly worked at Wayne Hospital, Miami
Valley Hospital and Neff Lettering. She was a member of the Warren
County Sheriff’s Posse Auxiliary. Betty loved traveling in their
Winnebago.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 15,
2016, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Chaplain R.M.
Pelley officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. The
family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the
funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice
