Illah June Sink

Illah June Sink, age 79, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 2:30 A.M. on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at her residence. Illah was born June 24, 1937 in Darke County near Arcanum to the late Roy & Iva (Wyan) Oswalt.

Illah is survived by her husband of 56 years, James E. Sink whom she married December 13, 1959; daughter & son-in-law, Krim Danzinger & Joe Perriello of Cleveland; son & daughter-in-law, Kevin & Kim Sink of Arcanum; grandchildren, Sarah Delaney Danzinger and Chris Starns; and brother & sister-in-law, Galen & Shirley Oswalt of Arcanum.

In addition to her parents, Illah was also preceded in death by a brother, George Oswalt.

Illah was a homemaker. She was a member of the Greenville Church of the Brethren. Illah was a founder and member of the Ladybug Garden Club. She loved gardening, animals and was an avid hiker in which she conquered the Appalachian Trail.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at the Greenville Church of the Brethren 421 Central Ave. Greenville with Pastor Ron Sherck officiating. Burial will follow in Castine Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Association of Darke County or State of the Heart Care.
