Armella E. (Knoth) Mangen

Armella E. (Knoth) Mangen, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 9:40 PM at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio.  She was born on November 20, 1932 in Mercer County, Ohio, to the late John & Pauline Knoth.

She is survived by her sons, Mark C. Mangen of Brock, Ohio, and Vernon A. Mangen of Yorkshire, Ohio; daughters, Mary Jane Mangen of Piqua, Ohio, and Karen Marie Mangen of Union City, Ohio; grandchildren, Tasha, Keshia, Amber and Dustin Mangen; step grandchildren, Tiffany, Brandy and Richie Black; numerous great grandchildren; sister and brother in law, Rosie & Virgil Kreig of Ft. Recovery, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Nelson F. Mangen whom she married on July 7, 1956 and brother, Cletus Knoth.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, Frenchtown, Ohio, with Rev. Fr. Ron Haft celebrant.  Burial will follow in the Holy Family Church Cemetery, Frenchtown, Ohio.  Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 4-8 PM and Friday from 9-9:45 AM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio.

It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to donor’s choice.
