Jane E. Deardourff
Jane E. Deardourff age 82, of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 1:37 PM
on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at her residence. Jane was born March 10,
1935 in Darke County to the late Herbert & Gertrude (Young)
Holzapfel.
Jane is survived by her sons & daughter-in-law, Chris Deardourff of
Greenville and Doug & Teresa Deardourff of Hilliard; and
grandchildren, Kegan Deardourff of Kettering, Hayley Deardourff of
Greenville, Tim Carrier of Hilliard and Melissa Deardourff of Hilliard.
Jane was also preceded in death by her husband, David Deardourff; and
brother, James Holzapfel.
Jane retired in 1993 from Greenville City Schools where she taught for
32 years.
It was Jane’s wishes to be cremated. Burial with her late husband will
be at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Greenville. In lieu of
flowers memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Care.
