Nolan L. Walters
Nolan L. Walters, age 83, of Greenville, Ohio, and formerly of
Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 2:05
AM at Wayne HealthCare in Greenville, Ohio. He was born on May
15, 1933 in Trafalgar, Johnson County, Indiana, to the late Clarence
& Olive (Weddle) Walters.
Nolan is survived by his sons, Terry, Joseph (Karla) and Mark Walters
of Greenville; daughters, Penny (Billy) Chandler of Salem, IN, Beth
(Mark) Powell of Indianapolis, IN, and Tonya (Gary) Hoffman of
Livingston, TX; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 1 great great
grandchild; sisters, Ruby Shirley of Beech Grove, IN and Doris Whitaker
of Indianapolis, IN.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers,
Norman, Robert and Floyd and sisters, Alice, Clarene and Dorothy.
Nolan retired from Hoosier Fence in Indianapolis, IN. He was a
member of the United States Army serving in the Korean War and was a
Lifetime member of the VFW.
There will be a private service held at the convenience of the
family. Arrangements are under direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral
Home, Greenville, Ohio.
