Thomas “Tom” Dean Blumenstock

Thomas “Tom” Dean Blumenstock, age 77, formerly of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at his residence, in Kempner, Texas.
 
Tom was born on November 30, 1939 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Harold and Helen (Clay) Blumenstock.
 
Tom loved his family and friends.  Tom’s special interests included riding horses, fishing, and gardening.
 
In addition to his parents Tom was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Blumenstock, son, Todd Blumenstock, and sister, Jane Long.
 
Tom is survived by his wife Karen (Baughman) Blumenstock, formerly of Greenville, Ohio and currently of Kempner, Texas, whom he married on November 15, 2008; son and daughter in law, Chris & Kathy Blumenstock of Ludlow Falls, Ohio; daughter and son in law, Dana & Steve Puterbaugh of Hollansburg, Ohio; step daughter, Jennifer Harless of Piqua, Ohio; grandchildren, Jason (Sue) Blumenstock, Erica Blumenstock, Christopher (Brittaney) Blumenstock, Alicia (Chris) Walter, Mat Blumenstock, Geo Thornton, Meaghan Thornton, and Logan Puterbaugh; step grandchildren, Brandon and Kevin  Darnell, great grandchildren, Jaron, Sierra, Sydney, Skylar, and Tristin; brother and sister in law, Richard and Linda Blumenstock of Bradington, Florida; brother, Steve Blumenstock,  of Greenville, Ohio; and sister, Mary Ann Schellhaas of Arcanum, Ohio; brother in law & sister in law, Richard & Georgia Rowland of Kempner, Texas, sister in law, Patricia Baughman of Ansonia, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
 
A celebration of Life service will be held at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in the very near future.
