Jack Sanders
Jack Sanders, of Greenville and formerly of Rossburg was called back to
God on May 21, 2017. He came into the world 70 years prior in 1947. In
1970, he married Linda Simmons. Their marriage was blessed with three
children, Tracy, Christine and Brian and seven grandchildren. He shared
his later years with Bonnie Thiebeau who was a special friend and
shared his passion of collecting.
He will be remembered for his love of fishing, Indian artifacts and
collecting in general. More importantly, he was a wonderful father who
loved his children and his friends. He would never turn away someone in
need.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his first wife,
Delores, his brothers, Jim and Gene, and his sister, Joyce.
A celebration of Jack’s life will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May
26, 2017, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will
follow in Greenville Township Memorial Garden with Military Graveside
services conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard. The family
will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral
home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes
Association.
