Carolyn J. Baird Blankenship, 92 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on
Wednesday November 22, 2017 at 6:40 PM at the Brethren Retirement
Community, Greenville, Ohio. She was born July 31, 1925 in St.
Mary’s Ohio the daughter of the late James Richard & Mabel (Jobes)
Baird. She was a volunteer. She was a member of D.A.R.;
Haner Historical Society; Miami County Historical Society; Genealogy
Society; Studebaker Family National Association; Fort Rowdy Museum.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Forrest L.
Blankenship; sisters: Beatrice Campbell, Mary Alice Folkerth, and
Janice Moggie.
She is survived by her children: Beverly Rush, Leslie Vicedo,
& Audrey Walther; grandchildren: Mark Rush, Nicole (Rush)
Lowder, Rick Vicedo, Susan Vicedo, Michael Vicedo, & Tammy
Smith-Firestone; numerous great grandchildren and great great
grandchildren; brother: Richard Baird; sister: Jane Silva.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday November 28, 2017 from
2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Brethren Retirement Community.
Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home,
Greenville, Ohio.
