Phyllis Jean (Koeller) Knick

Phyllis Jean (Koeller) Knick, age 87, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017 6:50 AM at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville, Ohio.  She was born on May 2, 1930 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Charles & Eva (Melling) Koeller. 

Phyllis is survived by her children, Kenny Knick of Greenville, Ohio, Pam (Dick) Rhoades of Greenville, Ohio, Peggy (George) Wilson of Zanesville, Ohio, Terri (Wendell) Brotherwood of Greenville, Ohio, and Steve (Susan) Knick of Somerset, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Pauline (Donald) Horner of Greenville and Beverly McDade of Piqua, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne W. Knick whom she married on July 24, 1948; siblings, Howard Koeller, Junior Koeller, Ellen Hines and Joanne Alspaugh.

Phyllis retired in 2009 from the Brethren Retirement Community after 19 years of service. 

There will be a service held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Todd Reish officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gettysburg Cemetery, Gettysburg, Ohio.  Family will receive friends on Friday, November 24, 2017 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. 

It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to the Brethren Retirement Community Resident Aid Fund or State of the Heart Care.
