Remonia Taylor

Remonia Taylor, age 78, formerly of Greenville passed away at 10:53 PM on Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at Mt. Carmel West Hospital in Columbus.

She was born January 15, 1939, in Hazard, Kentucky to the late James & Callie (Morris) Deaton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Carson & Charlie Deaton; and a sister, Vernia Holland.

Remonia is survived by her children, Mary & Michael Kramer of Grove City and Rita & Scott Baker of Arcanum; grandchildren, Steven Kramer, Virginia Baker & Essam Khattab, Rebecca Baker, Melissa & Brandon Young, Derek Baker, Katrina Baker, Neil Baker, Emma Baker & Carson Baker; great granddaughter, Lily Young; brother, Arnold Deaton of Jacksonville, Florida; sisters, Ruby Lanaham of Dayton, Mary Warbutton of West Carrollton, Flo Deaton of West Carrollton and Maxine Noble of Cold Spring,  Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Remonia retired from GTI in Greenville.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 9, 2017, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Daniel Berdine officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
