Billy Leon Mikesell
Billy Leon Mikesell, age 86 of Hollansburg, Ohio passed away at 3:00 AM
Tuesday September 19, 2017 at his residence. Billy was born
August 15, 1931 in Darke County and the son of the late Charles E. and
Myrtle M. (Lyme) Mikesell.
Billy and Jeanette were the former owners of the Coon Den of Darke
County for 54 years and he had also been employed for 18 years at the
former Sater Products.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter
Jenny Mae Mikesell and sisters Maxine Broderick and Norma Gibbons.
Billy is survived by his wife Jeanette F. (Stiver) Mikesell of
Hollansburg. They had been married for 66 years. Also sons Bruce
(Gail) Mikesell of New Madison and Brice L. Mikesell of
West Union, Ohio; daughter Jodena Mikesell of Arcanum;
grandchildren Shawna Mikesell of West Union, Charles (April) Raby of
Pitsburg, Ohio and Bradley Mikesell of Kettering; brother in law Ronald
(Carolyn) Stiver of Union City, Ohio as well as numerous nieces and
nephews.
Private Graveside Funeral Services will be held at the
convenience of the Family in the Palestine Cemetery Palestine, Ohio
with Rev. Dr. Joe LeMaster officiating.
The will be no visitation.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to
the Charity of your choice.
