Vickie C. Young
Vickie C. Young, 74 of Palestine, Ohio passed away on Monday February
12, 2018 at 4:37 AM at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born March
24, 1943 in Greenville, Ohio the daughter of the late Charles L. &
Evelyn T. (Meier) Drew. She was a homemaker and a babysitter for
many years.
She attended Faith Baptist Church and loved her dog Bitty; and loved
John Wayne Movies.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her sisters: Barbara
& Carol Drew; brother: Larry Drew.
She is survived by her husband of 55 ½ years Jack Young of Palestine;
her children & spouses: Randy & Carla Young of Palestine,
Roberta & Ed Smith of New Madison, Robin & Brian Mogle of New
Paris; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; sisters: Linda
Emerick of Greenville, & Deanna Henninger of Greenville; numerous
nieces & nephews.
Services will be held on Friday February 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Zechar
Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Bill Baker
officiating. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery. Family
will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday at the
funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be
made to the American Heart Association.
