Helen S. Everhart

Helen S. Everhart, age 101 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 4:05 PM Sunday January 21, 2018 at the Brookdale Senior Living Center Englewood, Ohio.  Helen was born January 31, 1916 in Darke County Ohio and the daughter of the late Sherman and Pearl (Supinger) Shiverdecker.

She was retired from the Kroger Grocery and prior had been employed at Sink’s Market and the former Last Chance Grocery, all of Greenville.

Helen was a member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ of Greenville and the Women’s Guild of the Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Rolland J. Everhart August 12, 2009.  They were married August 16, 1941. Also her son-in-law Jim Wiser; sisters Ruth (Ray) Gibbons and Naomi (George) Frye; brothers Joe Shiverdecker and Rally Shiverdecker.
 
Helen is survived by her daughter Jane Ann Wiser of Englewood, Ohio; grandchildren Brian Wiser and Brett (Amy) Wiser; great grandchildren Corey Wiser and Paige Wiser; sister Betty (Harvey) Hole of Versailles as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon Thursday January 25, 2018 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Dr. Jim Vandermark officiating.  Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 AM until time of the services in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers it is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Memorial Fund at St. Paul United Church of Christ of Greenville.
