Nadine Leota (Wigger) Wentworth

Nadine Leota (Wigger) Wentworth, 94, of Greenville, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018.

She was born on March 13, 1923 in Union City, Indiana to Bertha (Bothast) and Lauren Wigger.

Nadine’s family will remember her love of reading, gardening, and music.

She was preceded in death by: her parents, her husband of 69 years, Robert J Wentworth, all 9 of her siblings, her great grandson Daniel Cassel, and son-in-law Frank Zurey.

Nadine is survived by her three children, Robert “Wayne” (Ruth) Wentworth, of Neosho, MO, Pamela (Jim) Ousley of Magnolia, TX, and Mark (Diane) Wentworth of Greenville, OH. Additional survivors include grandchildren, Robert “Bob” (Cheryl) Wentworth of Carl Junction, MO, Jennifer (Doug) Cassel of Abrams, WI, Rebecca (Philip) Koebbe of Carlinville, IL, Sarah Wentworth, DVM of Birmingham, AL, Michael (Debbie) Zurey, of Howell, NJ, Susan (Eddie) Zurey of Manalapan, NJ, Adam J (Kristen Marie, MBA) Wentworth, MBA of Miamisburg, OH, Kristen Mae Wentworth of Greenville, OH, Bethany(Gabe) Dorsten, LPN of Dublin, OH. Nadine had 20 great-grandchildren: Kira & Ryan J Scott Wentworth, Douglas (Maegan), Matthew, Benjamin, & Mikayla Cassel, Samuel, Rachel, & ElianaKoebbe, Christine, Katie, Emma, Jillian, & Allison Zurey, Maisie Wilkerson, & Moses J Wentworth. Additionally, she has 2 great-great-grandsons Ayden & Jude Cassel. Nadine has two sisters-in-law, Marge Gatewood of Jacksonville, FL and Betty Fletcher of Greenville, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11AM at Oliver Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Reverends Peter Menke and Brain McGee officiating. Burial will follow in Union City Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday from 10AM until 11AM at the funeral home prior to the service.
