He and wife Rosie owned and operated a truck and automotive repair shop which attributed to many of Mike’s hobbies. Mike was involved in Drag Car Racing, Go-Kart Racing and the restoration of older cars.  He always had a passion for old, fast and loud muscle cars. Mike served many years as a little league baseball coach for his sons and served many years as a Volunteer EMT for the Versailles Life Squad. In June of this year, Mike retired from Dickman Supply as an Electrical Supply delivery person. In recent years as free time permitted, Mike spent much time in the boat on Lake Loramie getting snagged on brush, losing jigs, untangling line, forgetting to pull anchor, all in search of that wall mount bluegill. Children and Grandchildren’s events were also a highlight of Michael’s schedule whether it was at the parks or at home, he was always in attendance. Mike always enjoyed the presence of family and grandchildren with his wife Rosie.

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Gary Oser officiating.
