Debra LuAnn Leichty

Debra LuAnn Leichty, 59, of Greenville, Ohio, entered Heaven on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.

Deb was born on July 8, 1960, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Carl and DeeAnn (Vanloon) Green.

Deb was many things; a mother, a wife, a grandmother, a best friend, and a faithful servant of the Lord. She was a caring, joyful, and nurturing person. She brought so much joy to everyone she met, and her smile left a mark on your heart. She was dedicated and devoted to her family and loved her grandbabies. She had an amazing relationship with her sisters, and they were always there for each other. Deb had a few nick names given to her by her family. "Bee" because she was a busy bee, and "Me Too", because she would also want to tag along with her older sisters.

Deb loved swimming, crocheting, cooking, warm weather, and sunshine. She was faithful, dependable, and personified unconditional love. She was the rock on which her family would rely and her absence will forever be felt.

Deb is survived by her husband of 43 years, Evan Leichty, Jr., whom she married May 10, 1976; her children, James Leichty and his wife Natalie, of Greenville, Justine Thieman and her husband Lee, of Greenville, and Marshall Leichty and his wife Stephanie, of Tipp City, Ohio; her grandchildren, Tanner and Nolan Leichty, Everett and Cedric Thieman, and Baby Boy Leichty coming into the family this December; her siblings, Sherry Smith and her husband Doug, of Rockford, Ohio, Carol Thiebeau and her husband Bill, of Union City, Indiana, Carl Green, Jr. and his wife Kim of Rockford, David Green and his wife Stephanie of Union City, Indiana, and Carly Bolin and her husband Josh of Versailles, Ohio; and countless nieces, nephews and friends.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Guests are invited to visit with Deb's family on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.

in lieu of flowers, Deb's family would like any memorial contributions to be given to the Greenville Schools Lunch Fund, 100 Green Wave Way Greenvill, Ohio 45331 Att: Tonya Wright. She had a strong desire to feed everyone and wanted to make sure every child had a warm lunch.
