Jack L. Wintrow

Jack L. Wintrow, age 82 of Greenville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord at 12:34 PM Tuesday December 8, 2020 in the emergency room of Wayne Healthcare in Greenville.  Jack was born October 23, 1938 in Darke County and the son of the late Delbert R. and Mary C. (Grill) Wintrow.

Jack was a veteran serving in the US Air Force from 1955 until 1961.  He worked for Shraders Inc. for 22 years and then Yoder Industries of Dayton where he worked in tool and die-casting for 15 years retiring in 2001.  He was an active member and office of the Hickory Grove United Baptist Church of Greenville.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by Sisters Helen Pitsenbarger , Barbara Jean Wintrow and Shirley Fitzgerald;  Brothers Steve Wintrow, Ray Wintrow, Paul Wintrow, Bill Wintrow, John Wintrow and Donnie Wintrow.

Jack is survived by his wife Mary Alice (Barnes) Wintrow of Greenville.  They were married November 1, 1963.  Also children Jack (Susan) Wintrow,  David (Michelle) Wintrow, Tammy (J.R.) O’Donnell and Christena (Mike) Griffin; grandchildren Amanda (Joey), Sheldon, Josh, Tommy (Chelsi),  Garrett, Jordon (Karli),  Adam, Dusty (Kayla), Taylor and Morgan; great grandchildren Riley and Brayden  as well as numerous nieces, nephews and others who called him “Papaw Jack”.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday December 12, 2020 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Brother Fred Baker officiating.  Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 AM until time of the services in the funeral home.

There will be Military Honors conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard Saturday at the funeral home.

It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Hickory Grove United Baptist Church of Greenville.
