Elizabeth Ibanez Mojica

Elizabeth Ibanez Mojica, 61, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at her home.

She was born on January 20, 1959, in Rosario, Cavite, Philippines to the late Eduardo and Lucia Torres Ibanez.

Elizabeth was an amazing person, wife and mother. She was well known for your amazing Filipino cuisine and would often cater events for friends and family including the annual Phil-Am Christmas Party. She enjoyed parties and was the life of any party she attended. She loved shopping, cooking, sewing, dancing and traveling. Elizabeth worked for 10+ years as a welder at Norcold Inc. in Gettysburg, Ohio, and attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville. She touched many lives and will leave many broken hearts.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband of 40 years, Luciano Mojica, whom she married on August 21, 1979; her children, Alou Mojica Dela Cruz, and her husband Lervin, of Melbourne, Australia, Anne Mojica of Arcanum, Ohio, Krystelle Mojica of Troy, Ohio, and Dyana Mojica of Athens, Ohio; her grandchildren, Paul Ulrich Dela Cruz and Sophia Izabella Dela Cruz; her siblings, Edna Hoidn of Germany, Arcie Ibanez and his wife Terri, of Greenville, North Carolina, Nestor Ibanez of Greenville, and Alma Carter and her husband Paul, of Virginia; and her newphew, Paul Alexander Ibanez Carter. Elizabeth also leaves behind five furry grandkids, Miloh, Shadow, Pumba, Moon and Pia.

A memorial service for Elizabeth will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, July 5, 2020, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Deacon Thomas Graber officiating.
