Clarence L. “Butch” Simons

Clarence L. “Butch” Simons, 72 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Monday November 30, 2020 at 12:00 AM at his residence.  He was born May 22, 1948 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky the son of the late Clarence D. & Trella Marie (Tucker) Simons.

He was an appliance repairman and owned and operated S & S. Appliance Repair; prior to that he worked at Weaver Brothers in Versailles and for Sears for 20 years.

He was a member of the Sons of The American Legion, Greenville; Versailles Eagles; Maysville Kentucky Moose Lodge; he loved to fish, hunt and go boating, plowing and working on tractors; he loved John Deere tractors, UK Basketball, and Ohio State University Football.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his son: Christopher Simons; and his half-brother:  Marvin Simons.

He is survived by his wife:  Jill (Kremer) Simons whom he married April 10, 2000; his son & Fiancée: Joshua & Jamie Simons; his grandchildren:  Kamren & Kolton Simons, Maci, Madison, & Gavinn Simons; great grandchild:  Arya.

A memorial service celebrating Butch’s life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are being handled by Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
