Everett “Jerry” Klinger

Everett “Jerry” Klinger, 75, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2020, at his residence.

He was born on February 20, 1945, in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Everett J. and Agnus M. Klinger.

Jerry loved his family and especially enjoyed spending time with them throughout the years. When he was not with his family, you could find Jerry spending time outdoors, enjoying all of God’s creations. From hunting and fishing to camping and gardening, Jerry cherished every moment he spent outdoors.

Jerry was a district sales representative for Little Debbie until his retirement in 2011. He attended Greenville Trinity Wesleyan Church where he was an active member. Over the years, Jerry served as the board secretary, a trustee member, and even taught Sunday School. He was also a part of the Men’s Toolbox Ministry.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary (Wilkins) Klinger, whom he married July 6, 1968; his children, Brian Klinger and his wife, Lisa, of Grove City, Ohio, and Jason Klinger and his fiancé, Lisa, of Spokane, Washington; his grandchildren, Allison Pennington and her husband, Matt, of Poca West Virginia, Shelby Klinger and Trey Klinger, both of Grove City, Jackson Klinger, Sophie Klinger, and Sebastian Klinger, all of Spokane; his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Tyler; and his siblings, Angela Wamsley and her husband, Richard, of Oklahoma, Debbie Klinger of Logan, Ohio, and Kevin Klinger and his wife, Jodi, of Kankakee, Illinois.

A celebration of Everett's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the Greenville Trinity Wesleyan Church, 1400 East Main Street, Greenville, Ohio, 45331.

The family has entrusted Tribute Funeral Homes with the final arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
