Imogene V. Michael

Imogene V. Michael, 87, of Greenville, Ohio, formerly of New Weston, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020, at the Village Green Health Campus in Greenville.

She was born on August 1, 1933, in rural Darke County to the late Nelson and Grace (Sharp) Miller.

In addition to her parents, Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Michael, whom she married on September 5, 1950; her sons-in-law, George W. Thornhill, Jerry Stucke, and Jim Cox; her daughter-in-law, Sue Michael; one great granddaughter and one great-great granddaughter; and her brothers, Leon Miller, Vernon Miller, and Glen Miller.

Imogene loved spending time with her family. She was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed going to the casino from time to time. She and her husband, Bob, were members of the Moose Lodge #417, Eagles Lodge #3025, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Coldwater, Ohio.

Imogene is survived by her children, Karen Stucke of St. Henry, Ohio, Sharon Miller and her husband, Tim, of Ansonia, Ohio, Deb Kaiser and her husband, John, of New Weston, Randy Michael of Muncie, Indiana, and Sandy Thornhill-Cox of Rossburg, Ohio; her 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; and her brother, Richard Miller of Kansas.

A private celebration of Imogene’s life will take place at the convenience of the family with Pastor Tony Price officiating. Burial will follow in Brock Cemetery.
