Bobby G. Dynes

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bobby G. Dynes of Greenville, Ohio, announces his passing at State of the Heart Care on Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the age of 72. Bobby will be deeply missed by his wife Donna M. (Miller) Dynes, whom he married 7-7-77. Donna lovingly cared for him during his courageous journey with a chronic illness.
He was born on August 6, 1948 to the late Robert and Jane (Young) Dynes and grew up in Ansonia, Ohio where he graduated from Ansonia High School in 1967.
 
Bobby was known for his strong presence, passion for life, booming voice, and ornery grin. He was a hardworking tool and die machinist by trade for over 40 years and a former member of the Greenville Fraternal Order of Eagles and Loyal Order of Moose. Bobby was an avid NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan and also enjoyed mushroom hunting, going boating and fishing on Lake Erie, taking his family on vacations to Daytona Beach, FL and Gatlinburg, TN and spending time with his family to create lasting memories and leave a legacy.
 
Devoted husband and loving second dad to his wife and daughters of over 43 years, Laura Schaefer (Pat Drees) of Fort Loramie, OH and Lysa (Rihm) Morris and to her husband, his son-in-law, John Morris of Hilliard, OH.
 
Proud Pappy to his grandchildren, the late Kayla Schaefer, Kody (Lydia) Schaefer of Piqua, OH, Evan Singleman of Greenville, OH, Toni Morris and Kaysi Morris of Hilliard, OH and his great-grandchildren, Hayli Boner and Carson Boner of Greenville, OH.
 
Eldest Brother to his siblings, Vicky (Bob) Fields of Mendon, OH, the late Belinda Dynes, the late Rick Dynes and his wife, Cheryl Dynes of Ansonia, OH, Rocksand (Joby) Hollinger of Greenville, OH and Stoney Dynes of Piqua, OH.
He will also be missed by his brother-in-law, Bruce Miller of Greenville, OH, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and cherished friends.

In addition to his parents and those predeceased above, Bobby was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Van and Wanda (Richards) Young; paternal grandparents, Walter and Margarite (Clapp) Dynes; parents-in-law, Donald and Gertrude (Alcorn) Miller; sister-in-law, Sheryl and her husband, Tom DeHart; and brother-in-law, Glenn Miller.
 
Bobby looked forward to attending weekly church services at Triumphant Christian Center and now as a believer in Christ, he's been called home to end his suffering. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
 
A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at the Triumphant Christian Center in Greenville, OH with Pastor Sam Shilot officiating. Details will be shared at a later date.
 
The family has entrusted Tribute Funeral Homes, with the final arrangements.
 
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in Bobby’s name to either State of the Heart Care, 1350 N. Broadway, Greenville, OH or Triumphant Christian Center, 129 Southtowne Ct, Greenville, OH.
