Cynthia Mae “Weezie” Fitzgerald

Cynthia Mae “Weezie” Fitzgerald, 66, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
 
She was born on December 27, 1954, in Greenville, to the late Junior Beam and Linda (Keaser) Brenner.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Richard LaFuze.
 
Cindy enjoyed the simple life; playing bingo, going to the casino, and watching Lifetime movies. She loved her family and looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Everyone loved her Sunday Dinners and enjoyed her famous beef potpie and potato salad.
 
She is survived by her husband (it’s complicated), Chuck Fitzgerald; her children, Melissa (Greg) Byrd of Greenville, and Matthew (Linda) Fitzgerald of Laura, Ohio; her grandchildren, Natasha Kenworthy, of Greenville, Codi Byrd of Greenville, Austin (Becca) Fitzgerald of Rossburg, Ohio, Chase Fitzgerald of Union City, Ohio, Jasmine (Matt) Martin of Greenville, Joshua Byrd of Kettering, Ohio, and Justyse Byrd of Kettering; her great grandchildren, Baylee Andorfer, Graysen Mize, Logan Fitzgerald, Grace Morris, Kayden Martin, Chloe Martin, Connor Martin and one on the way. Cindy is also survived by her siblings, Tammy (Dennis) Cothran of South Carolina, Pinky LaFuze of Greenville, Tonya (Bruce Glaze) Beasley of Greenville, Lisa Beam Garrett, Robin Beam Rice, Bobby Beam, and Brian White; her nieces and nephews, Chasity Graves, Kelly Megan Wilson, Kailea Cramer, Wesley Cothran, Shelly Knick, and Scott Beasley; and her dearest friends, Joanie Beam, Tammy Elliott, and Sharon Hutchison.
 
A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 22, 2021, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Don Smith officiating.
 
Cindy’s family will be receiving guests on Thursday, January 21, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
