Ronald L. Benning
Ronald L. Benning age 76, of Versailles passed away at 4:40 AM on
Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Fox Run Senior Living in Fairborn.
Ronald was born March 23, 1944, in Miami County to the late Herman F.
& Wanda D. (Roeth) Benning.
Ronald is survived by his children, Melody & Roger Dawson Jr. of
Jamestown, Randy & Jan Benning of Xenia and Michelle Willis of
Xenia; grandchildren, Roger “Trey” & Lauren Dawson III, Jessie
& Nick Combs, Lindsay & DJ Brewer, Nick Willis, Danielle
Wilder, Codey Benning, Chloe Benning and Conner Benning; and
great-grandchildren, Dakoda Benning, Nova Wilder and Presley Brewer.
Ronald retired from Hobart Brothers in Troy with 35 ½ years of service.
He also worked at Dick Lavy Trucking and C & C Ag Carriers.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 11, 2021
at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. Burial will follow in
Miami Memorial Park in Covington. The family will receive friends on
Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial
