SSSF scholarship selection complete

The Senior Scribes Scholarship Fund is pleased to announce it will be awarding scholarships to seven deserving students the end of April.

These are sharp students! They come from different high schools and for the first time one helps a student in his continuing education goals. My eyes glazed over at the number of A’s I saw on transcripts.

Huge thanks go to Darrell and Debbie Biddlestone, The Bistro Off Broadway, and the Early Bird, Blue Bag Media and Paul Ackley for their direct student sponsorships. Also, many individuals have stepped up to help fund scholarships with their CNO Donor support. New donors include Jim Buchy, Martha Andrews, David Rohrer, Paul Wagner, Scott Zumbrink, Steve and Eileen Litchfield and more.

However your help is still needed. For the first time since the Senior Scribes Scholarship Fund was initiated we’ve had more deserving students submit applications than we had funding for them. Please consider adding County News Online to your charitable giving list. CNO is a fundraising arm of Senior Scribes Scholarship Fund, a 501c3 not for profit organization.
