The Other Side of the Edge…..
Hmmm, ….Which to Cover: A Murdered Ambassador,….or a Traffic Jam on a Bridge ??

Journalistic Integrity: Another one.
Let’s do some National Media, political math:

What equals: 

Four brutally murdered Americans, all of them in public service to the United States government, One an Ambassador to a foreign nation, and Two of them superbly trained and devoted Navy Seals, ….plus, …2,000 Mexican nationals, all murdered by Thousands of automatic weapons sold illegally to their killers by that same United States government, ….plus, …Hundreds of legitimate campaign funding organizations, given the arbitrary back of a hand because of their political affiliations, and denied or delayed their legal standing, by an agency of the United States government, the IRS, ….plus, …Millions of everyday Americans having their private phone conversations tapped, and emails read, all without permission, by another agency of the United States government, the NSA …???

That’s an easy one, …you silly. Why, …all of these “non-stories”, and “fake scandals”, taken in total, are quickly and deservedly trumped by THE story of the new year, and of the past twelve to eighteen months, in fact.

And that would be:

Two lanes of traffic shut down, on an important bridge, near an important U.S. city, for four days last September, causing quite a few folks to be late for work, or to school, and getting them oh so angry and perturbed about all of that inconvenience.

I’m not kidding about this, ….can’t you see it?? Just do the math.

Or listen to anyone from the National Media, especially television, and including cable.

Two lanes of traffic shut down, as a “na na na na” political payback aimed at the mayor of some local town, who didn’t support the governor of his state in a re-election bid, ….

….is MUCH more important than the horrific murder of a U.S. Ambassador (world wars have been started for less), the vicious killings of thousands of people in a foreign country, by way of machine guns supplied by the U.S. Justice Dept. (impeachments and long jail terms have been imposed, and invasions started, for less), and the trampling of individual and political liberties, by our own U.S. government, which is sworn to uphold and protect the very same.

And no, …this is not the logic of some fool on YouTube, trying to explain how living outside NYC sucks for him, anyway (ya know, this wouldn’t have gotten even a paragraph, if it had happened outside Des Moines,…just sayin’), and whose gone berserk with his teacher’s chalk board (do they still use those?) and math book. And not some new and nonsensical video game, either.

Nope, …it’s the chance the National Media has long been waiting for: the skewering, and “tarring and feathering”, of the only viable (so far) Republican candidate for President in 2016.

And to eliminate a possible threat to their beloved Lady Macbeth (aka: “Hills” baby) finally stepping out from behind the King(s), and freeing herself of her lifelong chains of indentured servitude (read: putting up with Bubba and Barry for decades, while waiting for her own chance to shine, and without running herself through with a dull and dirty butter knife, or White House napkin holder, during that interminable, mind-numbing process).

Yep,…for these “egregious” sins, he’s a dead man now (politically speaking).

With all the coverage which that ill-advised traffic tie-up has been getting, one would have thought that a wayward terrorist barge, filled with fertilizer explosives and sarin gas, had taken out one of the main support towers for that George Washington bridge, releasing clouds of deadly poison on humanity, and plunging thousands of unsuspecting New Jersey commuters into the foul and filthy Hudson River, never to be seen again, and now the state of New York was coming after their families, for that unpaid toll they still owe.

Oh, the horror !!

Who wouldn’t choose to cover and investigate, or not, a terrible and unacceptable inconvenience, ….over an overblown accusation (or five or six separate accusations) of unspeakable assassination and mass murder, and other “minor” illegalities and un-Constitutional behavior ??

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie may (or may not) have known about, or even ordered this pettiness (do I really need to explain?,…have you been under a rock, or something?). And if so, should suffer the consequences, political and otherwise.

But no one died (other than a 91 year old woman, who was stuck in the traffic mess, while riding to a nursing home in an ambulance, and who, according to the Affordable Care Act,…..well, …she was 91, so just give her some pills and cross all her fingers and toes), …and certainly,…no one was murdered, during this “atrocity” towards humankind (and whatever else lives in North Jersey).

So why then, did this story lead all the national news shows, and engender such a passion for seeing the good Gov. go down, to the exclusion of all other stories, much more worthy of pursuit?

Ask that same “unbiased” National Media.

They claim that recent email evidence, showing that the Governor’s staff perpetrated this traffic obscenity, without regret, and one might say with great glee, clearly demonstrates that he is either a liar, a petty political bully, or encourages a “culture” of political intimidation of innocent citizens, and especially of his opponents.

Maybe so. Maybe all of those.

But,……this would be different,….in what way,….from the current President’s “modus operandi”, and that of all those in leadership positions in our Nation’s Capital, who do his bidding????

What the Media doesn’t see, about themselves, and their methods and “leanings”, is that when they cover these types of stories, in the transparently prejudicial and one-sided manner they continue to display with this one, and so many other ones, ad nauseum for years on end, they only expose themselves, for the amateurish, bogus, dangerous and tiresome non-professionals which they truly are.

And that goes for all of them.

Fox News may not be hammering Christie on this one, but their over-joyed zealousness at blasting Obama at every turn, is just as tiresome as all the other networks and talking heads, who childishly jump for that same joy, whenever finding even the slightest item to nail a Republican who did something stupid (and they have a lot of material, there).

The “Left Leaning” networks lost any small bit of credibility remaining, when they all bought, hook, line, and mouthwash, the Obama and Holder, and Reid, and Pelosi (and all their players’ and minions’) lies and distractions, and self-serving political re-creations of actual, well documented events.

Instead, they freely choose to assist, in any way they can, this vapid, phony, soulless, agenda driven administration, as they minimize incompetence, stupidity, and criminality, all the while vastly underestimating the intelligence of the American public.

They allow gruesome, unspeakable murder, of our own employees and representatives, to be swept away quickly, and then accuse anyone wanting to expose these acts, or at least get a fuller, more truthful recounting, of political vendetta. When exactly the opposite is the truth.

They allow the Obama people to drag the Constitution, and all semblance of law and propriety, as well as personal liberty and security, ….from behind a pick-up truck, through a forgotten desert of deceit and mendacity, leaving them all there for dead, without even a word of protest.

So, who do we blame??

The perpetrators and purveyors of all this malicious, clandestine, and well-planned activity and cover-up ?

Or the messengers, …who bring it all to us, unedited from their “sources”, with cheerleader gleefulness, and ever so blindly defended ? 

How ‘bout…..BOTH. 

So,….who’s the “bully” now?

Who’s the one that’s “petty” and vindictive, to anyone who even slightly disagrees ?

Better be careful, boys and girls of the press, ….of the vaunted “Fourth Estate”, ….your “culture” is showing, ….and it ain’t so becoming.
