From the Other Side of the Edge….
The “American
Voter”, …or BHO in a “Mao Suit”. Just WHO is it,
…that’s “Stupid” ??!!

It’s a tie, heading into overtime.
Yes, I know it was a “gesture”.
And yes, other world leaders wore it too, even Putin, who made it look
like a proud warrior’s outfit, oh btw.
But when you are the President of the United States, and you’re 6’ 2”
tall, and 112 pounds, with shoulders like Taylor Swift, and a posture
like Stan Laurel, …or Justin Bieber, …you just can’t EVER be caught
dead, wearing a “Mao Suit”.
Even in China. Especially not in China.
The symbolism of that, juxtaposed with the insane, beyond dictatorial,
human rights abuse history of that place, …is enough to put the
political common sense meter in the repair shop, for the next
decade!
It re-defines “Stupid” on a level not seen since, …well, …since he was
seen genuflecting before Saudi King Abdullah, …and oh yeah, since he
bowed down to the Emperor of Japan, …and to the Mayor of Tampa,
Florida, …etc, etc.
(My God, man, …you’re The President, of the UNITED STATES of
AMERICA!!!!)
And not since he told us all that the U.S. has so much Muslim history
in our past, to look back on, …remember that??
Should I go on???
Not really? Too nauseating?
Understood.
But we’ll come back to this “Honor Roll” of international American
humiliation, …and stupidity, …in a minute.
Earlier this month, one of the White House’s many paid Public Relations
minions let their cat out of the bag, regarding the plan for shoving
Obamacare down our throats, a couple of years ago.
This special smarty pants, a professor from M.I.T. (need I say more?),
was in charge of determining just how to say or phrase certain things,
in certain ways, within this obscene legislation, so that the “stupid
…American voter” (as he accused us) would never understand it, at least
not enough to question it, but would still want it anyway.
Apparently, …he was right.
And just how stupid are we, …the American voter??
Well, …we elected the namesake of this healthcare monstrosity and
hell-hole, …not once, but twice!! And by large
margins, each time!
And why?
Seems the not so intelligent, but oh so gullible, and easily dupable
American voting public, bought right into the idea that a well-spoken,
not quite good looking black man, with a nice family, and he could also
speak very well, and he was black, and he had a dog, and he could speak
from a teleprompter like no other, and he also happened to be black,
and was also very articulate (unless he spoke off the cuff), was going
to be the first black man ever to hold the office of U.S. President,
…and that would be a good thing.
Did I mention that he was black, …and well spoken?
Oh, I did already? Well sorry, that’s all there was, …and
is.
Yep, …just like those naïve Native Americans of legend, who gave away
Manhattan to some colonists for about $24 worth of trinkets, or the
teenage girl who just got her first “steady ring” (do they still do
that?), we were duped by a bright and shiny object, which regrettably,
soon turned green and ugly after only the slightest exposure to real
light.
And then we did it again, …four years later !!
And maybe worse, we elected a Congress which was just as bad, on both
sides of the aisle, …and state legislatures, and governors in too many
states, who possessed equal abilities with sparkly baubles, and with
sheer incompetence.
THAT’s how stupid we are. The smug M.I.T. egghead was
right, …we only see as far as the end of our collective noses, …or as
far as our mailboxes, for the latest government checks, and food
stamps, and the like.
“Fool me once, ….” …aw, …you know the rest.
Or at least we should, because the “shame” lies with us, …moreso than
with the charlatans, con-men, and pretenders which we elected, …more
than once.
It lies within our apathy, our indifference to the political process,
and in our dispassion and lethargy, when involving even the smallest
effort at keeping that which was given to us by prescient and patriotic
(and definitely NOT stupid) heroes of generations past, and at such a
high cost.
We now take these gifts for granted, and are too quick to let them just
slip away, as if they were nothing, and
valueless.
Shame on us, for allowing that to happen.
But hopefully, this most recent election was the start of something
old, …which is new again, …as the old song goes.
Ok, let’s return to that “roll call of stupidity”, which we spoke of
earlier.
How could we elect a man, and his like-minded group, twice, who thought
it was ok, and so very smart, to give machine guns to the Mexican
mafia, so that our guys could catch and arrest, …uh, …the Mexican
mafia???
“Stupid is, as stupid does.” (I love Forrest Gump, …can ya
tell?)
And a man, and his female hench-woman (hmm, …put those two words
together, and you get…..), who, after their shameful and criminal
neglect of duty led to the hideous torture and murder of a U.S.
ambassador, thought they could divert our attention from this obscenity
by blaming it on a spontaneous riot due to a bogus anti-Islam
video??
The Wizard of Oz, trying to tell Dorothy not to pay any attention to
the little man behind the curtain (once he was outed), had a better
chance of getting that one over.
How can we be so stupid, as to allow this group to continually
circumvent, and even ignore clear law, as well as the Constitution, on
nearly a daily basis, as they feed their egos, and march determinedly
towards their obvious agenda???
The IRS, the NSA, the Excel pipeline, immigration reform, the
continuing Healthcare disaster, the nonsensical approach to controlling
and/or eliminating foreign enemies, and the use of political
correctness to dictate culture change, so unnecessary in so many cases,
…to name only a few from that infamous list of
stupidities.
Yes, my friends, we have played them to a tie. And
that is not a good thing. Talk about lowering
standards!! We have to be near the bottom, by
now, …don’t we???
But the fight is still there, I feel it. Overtime
approaches, and we still have a chance, …maybe our final
one.
The effects of the last election were so widespread, and so deep, that
they have to instill enough hope to keep us going, …to the next one,
…and then the one after that.
Unless we revert to that old soft shoe of indifferent American
stupidity.
But let’s hope that went out with last week’s trash.
Along with an ugly and purple, …Chinese suit.
