Isn't it about time?
By George Starks

I've never been one to get deep into the political scene but I have noticed lately that I am paying more attention to the news.

How many of you noticed how the liberal media was trying to drag Hillary Clinton across the finish line? CBS was holding out in hopes Clinton would turn Pennsylvania and Michigan blue while the western media had already projected Donald Trump the winner.

Isn't it about time the media became a little less biased?

Now, we have the protests. I guess it okay to protest. It's called 'Freedom of Speech'.

In one interview, again on CBS, a young woman made this comment: "Trump will destroy our country. He will not uphold the morals and the ideals we value in our time."

When I heard this, I had to laugh before I became angry.

I thought, "What morals is she speaking of? As a country, we have no good morals anymore." Isn't it about time we got away from the liberals in Washington and got back to what this country was founded on?

Isn't it about time we put the 10 Commandments back into our government buildings and bring back the Pledge of Allegiance in our schools?

Isn't it about time we prosecute the people who desecrate our flag? It makes me sick to see people burning and stomping on the same flag that many died to protect.

In 1993 a man said, "In the end, I believe my generation will surprise everyone. We already know that both political parties are playing both sides to the middle and we'll elect a true outsider when we fully mature. I wouldn't be surprised if it’s not a business tycoon who can't be bought and who does what's right for the country. Someone like Donald Trump as crazy as that sounds."

Those were the words of Kurt Cobain in 1993.

Wow!

Again, isn't it about time the country got back to some good, old fashioned morals?
