Once again Senior Scribe Poet Laureate Lois Wilson is on top of the
season with her insightful look at the important events of the day.
This time it’s healthcare. Wilson sums up the top ten things you DON’T
want to hear when you go to the doctor.

Comments you don’t want to hear from the receptionist

1. That doctor’s office has moved to a
new location.
2. Your appointment card is wrong. The
doctor doesn’t come to the Greenville office on this day of the
week.
3. We don’t have you listed on today’s
schedule.
4. We can’t see you until you pay your
bill.
5. We tried to call you. The doctor’s had
an emergency.
6. Your file photo doesn’t match your
name.
7. Your records automatically deleted.

8. Your copay has increased 300%.
9. We were informed that your health
insurance has been canceled.
10. Our records have you marked “deceased.”
